Comments: Virginia's comment is incorrect.
AstraZeneca outsources the making of its drugs to Shanghai Pharmaceutical of China and has also moved its own manufacturaing plant to India. It's called AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd. Do a google search. They have also outsourced their IT services.
They closed or greatly downsized all of their production in the UK at Macclesfield and in Plankstadt in Germany, although we would still have manufacturing capabilities in the medium term in Sweden, which is being downsized, and Avlon, near Bristol, and Dunkirk.
In fact, just about all the drugs you take these days are made in India, China, Indonesia, and some in Canada. Hardly any drugs are made in Europe or the U.S.
I use Canada Drugs Online and have found everything I have ordered to be real - not fake. I am presently getting generic Aciphex (made by Cipla in India) from CanadaDrugsOnline.

Comments: The last commenter is wrong. There is a generic version of Nexium. It comes from India where patent rules are different. This online pharmacy offers customers either the brand or generic. See for yourself: http://www.canadadrugsonline.com/DrugMoreInfo1767.aspx.

Comments: I ordered brand name Nexium from Canadadrugsonline.com. The company called back promptly and a friendly customer service rep told me that the Nexium would be shipped from India via Europe. I expressed concern about the fact that it came from India, but she assured me that it was manufactured by AstraZeneca in India and that the facilities were FDA approved. She told me that they did not sell counterfeit drugs.
However, I checked with someone who works at AstraZeneca and was told that Nexium is not manufactured in India. Therfore I have to surmise that this drug was not manufactured by AstraZeneca. It can't be generic, because Nexium is under patent. Exactly where does this drug come from?
I cancelled my order.
I also noticed that Blue Sky Drugs and Canadadrugsonline.com share the same physical address.

Comments: We have used this pharmacy to obtain a medication for my father and will begin using it for several of my mother's medications. The service is outstanding and the savings are substantial. Every question I asked was clearly and pleasantly answered. I'm hard to impress, but I'm impressed!
