How many Levitra (vardenafil) pills can my doctor prescribe at one time? How can I cut costs?

Written by Shivam Patel, PharmD, BSPS, RPh | Posted April 04, 2018 | Updated December 03, 2020

Pharmacies listing prices on PharmacyChecker.com are required to follow PharmacyChecker Verification Program standards and guidance policies, which permit pharmacies to internationally market, sell, process and/or dispense a maximum 3-month supply of non-controlled medication pursuant to a valid prescription authorizing a 3-month supply quantity. In other words, your doctor may only prescribe 3 months at a time if you want to order through international online pharmacies.

If you choose to buy Levitra locally in the U.S., pharmacies have more latitude to market and sell larger quantities of medication to their customers domestically, in accordance with a written prescription. In many U.S. states, it's commonplace to dispense a year supply of a non-controlled medication; however, the quantity dispensed of Levitra is often limited by U.S. health insurance policies to 6 tablets every 30 days. Your doctor may be able to prescribe a year supply, but, unless you are paying in cash, health insurance coverage usually does not cover a quantity that large.

Levitra Prices

Levitra (vardenafil) is a prescription medication used to treat erectile dysfunction in men.

Unfortunately, the cost for this brand-name drug only continues to rise in the U.S. where just one pill of Levitra 20 mg costs around $60.

Fortunately, savings of over 90% on Levitra are available online.

Levitra Discounts at Local U.S. Pharmacies

There are savings options with discount cards at U.S. pharmacies, but typically a 10% savings is the best you can do. You can print discount cards using PharmacyChecker.com. Just enter your ZIP Code on the price page of your prescribed medication and follow the prompts.

As of this writing, no generic version of Levitra is currently available in the U.S. Although a generic version of Levitra (Vardenafil Hydrochloride) was approved by the FDA in 2012, due to U.S. patent laws, patients are still waiting for it in 2018.

Stick to PharmacyChecker-Verified Online Pharmacies

It is important to note that Levitra and other erectile dysfunction drugs, such as Viagra and Cialis, are known to be some of the most counterfeited medications sold online so take care not to be fooled by rogue online pharmacies that offer these brands. Rogue sites are not verified by PharmacyChecker.com or another credentialing organization and may endanger your health or rip you off.

We just ordered for my 90 year-old Mom. In the U.S. generics are not always available. So using PharmacyChecker we felt that its member pharmacy vendors were vetted. This reassurance of reliability took much of the guess work out of our shopping task.

This website provides very helpful information on ordering medications from non-U.S. Sources. We save 50% to 60% on name brand meds that are not available in generic forms in the U.S. We have saved thousands over the years.

I feel safe ordering from a pharmaceutical company outside of the U S because the prescription I am using is exactly the same as those sold in the U S, however, the price is totally different. What I had paid in the U S for 90 pills listed at almost $500. For which I have been paying $72. From a Canadian company for 5 or 6 years now, the price includes shipping and is sometimes negotiable.

This happens to be a very good pharmacy that delivers name brand meds at a reasonable price. All of the meds that I have purchased through this pharmacy have been the exact product my doctor listed. All of the products were labeled with original manufacturer's identity and location with date of manufacture and expiration. I am certainly glad that I found this pharmacy. Great job.

I have been able to source several meds, at 10% of the american pharma cost. I have no doubt that I bought them where american pharma buys them, and then rapes the public. Thank you p checker

I am happy to see the entities that are endorsed by you. But I did have a horrendous experience with Canadian Pharmacy with my latest order. After switching the location from which my order was to be chipped, the order was and still is being held by US Customs. They did give me a replacement order which I finally did receive but that order was submitted MUCH later than it should have been. Bottom line, I waited OVER THREE MONTHS for my med to finally be delivered and that cost me more money to piece meal samples from my doc and out of pocket for short term needs. And, the order I did receive cost me MORE for FEWER tablets. I know Covid-19 played a part in this fiasco but the supplier simply DID NOT PREFORM!
